Biddle Memorial Golf Tournament
Save the Date: Monday, April 27, 2026!

To everyone who helped make the 6th Annual Biddle Memorial Golf Tournament such a meaningful success—thank you. From the morning tee time to a heartfelt evening dinner and auction, the day was filled with laughter, generosity, and the spirit of community that makes this event so special. Whether you joined us from Bainbridge, took a ferry across the water, or flew in from out of state, your presence meant the world to us.
We are thrilled to share that, together, we raised approximately $67,000—our highest fundraising total to date—in support of the Troy & Baden Biddle Foundation! Remarkably, this incredible milestone was reached even with fewer attendees than in years past, a true testament to the heart and generosity of this community. These funds will go directly toward youth sports grants, scholarships, and programming that honors Troy and Baden’s legacies by creating opportunities for young people to thrive. To our incredible volunteers, sponsors, donors, golfers, dinner guests, and auction participants: we are deeply grateful. You are the heart of this work.
Check out the amazing photos from the day— captured by the one and only Tony Johnson!

An Evening with Steve Zakuani: Seattle Sounders Legend, Mental Health Advocate, Philanthropist, Sportscaster
The Troy & Baden Biddle Foundation welcomed Seattle Sounders Legend, Mental Health Advocate, and Philanthropist, Steve Zakuani.
In his inspirational talk, Steve shared his journey from growing up in Africa, moving to England then to the US, to dealing with a near career ending injury. He discussed how to face obstacles with a positive mindset, how to set goals, how to remain hopeful in the most challenging moments, and how to be a positive role model for others who face their own adversities.

About the Troy & Baden Biddle Foundation

The Troy & Baden Biddle Foundation honors the memories of a beloved father and son, by supporting youth development in two communities that were important to them: Bainbridge Island, Washington and Astoria, Oregon. Our primary areas of giving are focused on youth sports, youth education, and youth wellness; with special interest in organizations that promote teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, community, and fun. We provide funding through scholarships, need-based grants, and community initiatives.

Our foundation was established to honor the memory of father and son Troy and Baden Biddle of Bainbridge Island Washington who were tragically killed by a habitual drunk driver in 2017. Beloved members of the community, active in youth sports, the foundation currently offers scholarships to graduating student athletes. Over time, our foundation seeks to grow so we can give back to the Bainbridge Island community in a myriad of ways.
